In connection with the processing of personal data, the data controller (Julius-Globe Ltd.) hereby informs users of the website about the personal data processed by it on the website, the principles and practices followed in the processing of personal data, the organisational and technical measures taken to protect personal data, and the ways and possibilities for data subjects to exercise their rights.
In establishing the provisions of this notice, the data controller has taken into account the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (“General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”), Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (“Infotv.”), Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (“Ptk.”), and Act XLVIII of 2008 on the Basic Requirements and Certain Restrictions of Commercial Advertising Activities (“Grtv.”).
The data controller may make certain services on its website subject to prior registration. Through our website, you have the opportunity to request a quote for CNC machining, fixture design, R&D projects or other metal industry services, which you may do via the e-mail address or contact form indicated on our website. Based on correspondence received, your name and e-mail address will be recorded. If you do not become a client of our company, these data will be deleted without delay. If you submit a job application for one of our open positions, the data provided in your application (personal identification data, CV data) will be processed. If you do not become an employee of our company, these data will be deleted without delay.
As a general principle, personal data recorded for the purpose of entering into a contract or fulfilling a statutory obligation, as well as data collected during website visits, are processed confidentially, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and EU requirements, and in compliance with this notice.
In the event that a service provider technically connected to the operation of the data controller’s website (typically an internet service provider or hosting provider) processes data on the website without the knowledge of the data controller, such activity shall not be considered data processing carried out by the data controller. Such third-party service providers are not authorised to process personal data.
Data subject: any identified or – directly or indirectly – identifiable natural person.
Personal data: any data that can be associated with a data subject – in particular the data subject’s name, identification number, and one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of the data subject – as well as any inference drawn from such data relating to the data subject.
Consent: a voluntary and explicit expression of the data subject’s will, based on appropriate information, by which the data subject gives their unambiguous agreement to the processing of personal data relating to them – in full or with respect to specific operations.
Objection: a statement by the data subject objecting to the processing of their personal data and requesting the termination of data processing or the deletion of the processed data.
Data controller: a natural or legal person, or an organisation without legal personality, who or which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of data, makes and implements decisions regarding data processing (including the tools used), or has such decisions implemented by a data processor acting on their behalf.
Data processing: any operation or set of operations performed on data, regardless of the procedure applied – in particular collection, recording, organisation, storage, alteration, use, retrieval, transmission, disclosure, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure and destruction of data, as well as prevention of further use of data, taking photographs, audio or video recordings, and recording of physical characteristics suitable for personal identification (e.g. fingerprints, palm prints, DNA samples, iris scans).
Data transfer: making data accessible to a specified third party.
Disclosure: making data accessible to anyone.
Data deletion: rendering data unrecognisable in a way that makes restoration impossible.
Data set: the totality of data managed in a single register.
Third party: a natural or legal person, or an organisation without legal personality, other than the data subject, the data controller or the data processor.
Special data:
Data processing – including the recording and storage of data relating to users who register on the website – takes place to the extent necessary for the operation of the services available on the website, for maintaining contact, and for providing information, as well as for the purpose of fulfilling the legal obligations applicable to the data controller.
Data processing is also necessary for the creation, definition of content, modification, and monitoring of performance of a contract between the data controller and the registering client, for using the ordered service, invoicing the purchase price, enforcing related claims, documenting the conformity of performance, and fulfilling accounting obligations.
Personal data are processed on the basis of the voluntary and explicit consent of the data subjects. Users grant their consent by using the website and registering on it. The data controller may process the personal data it handles without additional separate consent, and even after the withdrawal of the data subject’s consent, for the purpose of fulfilling a legal obligation applicable to it (with particular regard to statutory obligations relating to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing).
To use the data controller’s website, users are required to provide the following personal and other data during registration:
During each visit to the website (even without registration), the following data – not attributable to a specific individual – may be recorded for statistical analysis purposes: visitor’s IP address; start of visit (per page); end of visit (per page). In the event that a forum or blog is introduced, the following technical information will also be recorded during commenting or logging in: IP address; timestamp. In addition, upon registration on any such forum or blog, an automatic confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address provided.
Users are also required to create a password during registration. The data controller stores only a hash of the password that is suitable solely for verifying the correctness of the password and cannot be used to reconstruct the password itself. During website use, the data controller records the type of browser and operating system used by logged-in users. This data is logged continuously by the system but is not associated with data provided during registration or use. The data controller uses these data anonymously, solely for statistical purposes and to protect the security of the website.
Data processing takes place exclusively in the manner prescribed by law, to the extent and for the duration necessary for achieving the purpose, and exclusively with such personal data as are indispensably necessary for the realisation of the above purposes and suitable for achieving them.
The website uses so-called cookies for the purpose of analysing website usage and providing services. Users may delete these data independently from their own browser.
Analytics cookies: the website may use Google Inc.’s (“Google”) Google Analytics system and the Matomo Analytics plugin to analyse website traffic. The Google Analytics system stores “cookies” – simple, short, small text files – on your device and uses them to analyse visits to our website, thereby helping to improve our website to enhance the user experience. Data recorded in the cookie relating to website visits (together with the time of visit and your IP address) are transmitted to and stored on Google’s servers in the United States of America. Google uses this data to evaluate your website-visiting habits, to compile reports on these for the data controller, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet use.
Users who do not wish Google Analytics to report on their visits may install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. To disable Analytics activity, please visit the Google Analytics opt-out page and install the add-on in your browser.
Targeted or advertising cookies: in order to provide visitors with marketing information most relevant to their interests, we may also use personalised, targeted or advertising cookies, for which the explicit consent of the website visitor is required. Such consent may be given by clicking the appropriate button in a separate text box displayed on the relevant web interface.
Session cookies: these are essential for navigating the website, for the operation of its key functions, and for accessing protected content. These cookies store information necessary for completing forms and sometimes the visitor’s selected language, and do not collect information about the visitor that could be used to identify them or for marketing purposes. These cookies are automatically deleted when the browser is closed and the session is terminated.
Functional cookies: these cookies detect the type of device used to access our website and remember the visitor’s previous user choices (such as username, password, chosen language, or whether the user was logged in during a previous session), in order to provide better and more personalised functionality.
Third-party cookies: we may use external web services to display various content on our website, which may result in the storage of certain cookies that we do not control. We therefore have no influence over what data these websites or external domains collect about how visitors or registered users interact with such embedded content.
The data processing policy of these third-party providers can be found on the respective providers’ websites.
E-mail addresses, as personal data, may pass through foreign servers in connection with electronic notifications, but personal data will not be stored there. The data controller shall not make the data it processes accessible to any third party in any form (except in the case of mandatory data provision to an authority empowered by law to request such data), and shall take all reasonable measures to preserve the confidentiality of the data, and shall contractually oblige the client’s business partners to do likewise.
The processing of data provided mandatorily during registration commences with registration and continues until the data are deleted, except for those data which the data controller is required to retain for the periods specified by law for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations (with particular regard to statutory obligations relating to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing). Upon termination of registration, the data provided at registration will be deleted from the data controller’s electronic database.
The data controller shall take all necessary steps to ensure the security of the personal data provided by users, both during network communication and during the storage and safekeeping of data.
Registered users may modify their data by logging in and accessing their profile page. Users are entitled at any time to request the deletion of their data via a deletion request submitted to the data controller. Such a request may not apply to data which the data controller is required to retain for the periods specified by law for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations (with particular regard to statutory obligations relating to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing).
Every data subject may – request access, i.e. information about the processing of their data; – request rectification if any of their data has been incorrectly recorded or has changed; – request restriction of processing; – request erasure of their data if it was processed unlawfully, or if the legal basis for processing has ceased (e.g. if they have withdrawn their consent and no other legal basis remains) – this is the so-called “right to be forgotten”; – request data portability, i.e. request the processed data in a “structured, commonly used, machine-readable format” for transfer to another service provider; – object to the processing of their data.
The data controller is obliged to provide the requested information, make the requested changes or deletions without undue delay.
The data controller is entitled to unilaterally amend this notice, with prior notification to users. The amended provisions shall enter into force with respect to any given user upon their first use of the website following publication of the amendment. Amendments may not affect data protection obligations prescribed by law.
Users may address complaints regarding data processing directly to the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (address: 1125 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/c., Hungary; phone: +36-1-391-1400; e-mail: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; website: www.naih.hu).
In the event of a violation of their rights, users may seek redress before a court. Jurisdiction lies with the regional court (törvényszék). The proceedings may – at the data subject’s choice – also be initiated before the court having jurisdiction over the data subject’s place of residence or habitual residence. The data controller shall, upon request, inform the user of the available remedies and means of enforcement.
